A Seminar on the theme "Secular Democracy and Development: Creating Space for Minorities" was organised by the Institute on 26th and 27th February 2015 in the Institute Conference Hall. The Seminar was supported by the Western Regional Centre of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, Mumbai. Rev. Fr. Paul Vattathara SVD, the Provincial Superior of INM Province inaugurated the Seminar. Prof. P. M. Kamath, Director of the VPM Centre for International Studies, Mulund delivered the Key Note address. A number of academicians presented papers on a variety of issues relevant to the topic of the Seminar. The participants of the Seminar included teachers and students of a number of colleges of Mumbai. The papers presented will be brought out in a Scientific Journal.
